Community Services
CABUN Rural Health Services is dedicated to serving the communities of southern and southwestern Arkansas. We are a Federally Qualified Health Center, bringing comprehensive healthcare to those who can least afford it. Our community involvement naturally developed into valuable services for the holistic well-being of rural Arkansas’ residents, in body and mind.
CABUN believes that education is the key for individual and community growth. We believe that educational growth makes an individual stronger, and stronger individuals contribute to the expansion and development of businesses and communities.
The CABUN Education Program is a recognized leader in promoting a collaborative effort with local established groups, schools, and civic and government leaders to promote reading.
Please contact our main office for more information about the CABUN Education Program.
CABUN’s 340B Prescription Assistance Program may help you obtain prescription medications that you may not otherwise be able to afford.
In partnership with many pharmaceutical companies, CABUN has helped many people receive medications. If you need assistance with your maintenance medications, please contact a CABUN Case Manager at (870) 798-4299.
To qualify for the Prescription Assistance Program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a U.S. citizen or a legal resident
- Be an established CABUN patient
- Meet household income guidelines
CABUN’s patients include those with insurance, those without insurance, and those with not enough insurance. CABUN accepts private insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare.
We are dedicated to providing medical and dental services to the children and adults of Arkansas, regardless of their ability to pay. Although we are not a free clinic, we offer discounted fees on a sliding scale based on income and family size guidelines.
Our case management team can help link you to services, including Medicaid, 340B Prescription Assistance Programs, and more.
CABUN’s Case Management department is centered on helping you and your family obtain affordable healthcare services, including 340B prescription medication and transportation assistance.
Our friendly case managers screen patients for all CABUN programs, in addition to Medicaid. With our case management team, you will not only experience an open door atmosphere, but an open heart as well.
Whether the need is social, economic, health, or financial, a CABUN case manager is ready to assist you and your family.
It is our desire to improve the quality of life in our communities, and case management is another tool to make that possible.
CABUN Rural Health Services offers comprehensive family medical and dental care to the people of rural southern Arkansas. As your Patient-Centered Medical Home, CABUN will work with you to manage your healthcare for the best possible results. This may mean that you require a referral to a specialist, including behavioral health.
CABUN will monitor your treatment and progress through any specialist you see, so that your integrated health profile remains up-to-date at your regular doctor’s office, and we can be your health advocate no matter what issues you face.
COVID testing is performed at all clinic sites. The rapid test is performed when the patient experiences moderate symptoms, otherwise a PCR is sent out to the reference lab. Results are reported immediately or within 3-5 days depending on which test was used. COVID testing is currently free. Positives are reported to the AR Department of Health for contact tracing.
CABUN will be an Immunization site for the COVID vaccine when it is released for use. The vaccine will be free of charge.
